Wells didn’t just lead the Gamecocks in receiving yards. According to NIL attorney Darren Heitner, the founder of Heitner Legal and a professor of NIL at the University of Miami, Wells is currently leading the SEC in NIL deals.
I’m told University of South Carolina WR @juicew3lls is leading the SEC in #NIL deals. All deals were procured by @parkavesports_, so Juice isn’t charged any agent fees. pic.twitter.com/qSYTkJhx5S— Darren Heitner (@DarrenHeitner) May 16, 2023
Heitner credited Park Avenue, a marketing agency for South Carolina athletics, for helping Wells obtain a multitude of NIL deals. Wells’ deals include SAXX Underwear, The Farmer’s Dog and Hey Dude.

Wells finished fifth in receiving yards in the SEC and his performance last season was good enough to earn himself first-team All-SEC honors by opposing coaches and second-team All-SEC honors by the Associated Press.
Wells, who hauled in 68 receptions, will be in line for a monster 2023-24 campaign as he and the Gamecocks look to make serious noise in an always competitive SEC.
