Antwane Wells broke onto the scene last year during his first season playing for South Carolina.

Wells led the Gamecocks in receiving, as he accumulated 928 receiving yards and six touchdowns proving to be a reliable target for quarterback Spencer Rattler.

Wells didn’t just lead the Gamecocks in receiving yards. According to NIL attorney Darren Heitner, the founder of Heitner Legal and a professor of NIL at the University of Miami, Wells is currently leading the SEC in NIL deals.

Heitner credited Park Avenue, a marketing agency for South Carolina athletics, for helping Wells obtain a multitude of NIL deals. Wells’ deals include SAXX Underwear, The Farmer’s Dog and Hey Dude.

Wells finished fifth in receiving yards in the SEC and his performance last season was good enough to earn himself first-team All-SEC honors by opposing coaches and second-team All-SEC honors by the Associated Press.

Wells, who hauled in 68 receptions, will be in line for a monster 2023-24 campaign as he and the Gamecocks look to make serious noise in an always competitive SEC.
