A Medium article in 2021 outlined the requirements to become a Victoria Secret angel.

According to Victoria Secret’s Chief Marketing Officer Edward Razik, to join the ranks of Gisele Bündchen, Emily Ratajkowski and Candice Swanepoel, models must be between 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and on average be aged between 18 and 22 years old. They want those with an “hourglass figure,” smooth skin, silky hair, toned body and a perfect face.

Tommy Brown has a flowing mullet and great facial hair. His body is that of a bear, featuring broad shoulders, massive thighs, long arms and powerful hands.

Needless to say, the 6-foot-7, 330 pound offensive lineman for the University of Colorado is no angel, but low and behold, he’s college football’s first professional underwear model.

Shinesty, a Colorado based underwear brand known best for their trademarked ‘Ball Hammock Pouch,’ signed an NIL deal with Brown on Friday to an undisclosed contract, per a press release sent to The NIL Deal.

“When you have a body this good, you deserve to be paid,” Brown said. “As a college football player, I’m already used to millions of people seeing me in pants that leave nothing to the imagination. Might as well make some money while I’m at it.”

As an ambassador for Shinesty, Brown will — almost — bare it all in the company’s new high fashion campaign recreating some of the most iconic print and video advertisements to date. In Brown’s words, it’s a Calvin Klein ad but with a better looking dude wearing underwear that’s actually comfortable.

Shinesty creative director Ben Lauderdale says the partnership is perfect.

“Why pick an offensive lineman instead of a flashier position like a QB or wide receiver?” Lauderdale said. “Simple. On the field, Tommy protects the quarterback from sacks. Off the field, Tommy protects his own sack with Shinesty’s Ball Hammock® Pouch Underwear.”

“Well, it wasn’t really MY dream, but I’m sure someone dreamt of modeling underwear for a company, and now their dream has come true for me,” Brown said.
