SAXX hired All-Pro football players, Buffalo Bills wideout Stefon Diggs and Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs, as Chief Ball Officers, but now the company is expanding its roster and entering the NIL space.

SAXX signed seven members of the South Carolina football team to a six-figure NIL deal, the company announced on Thursday. SAXX wanted to secure “the team’s balls with the brand’s patented BallPark PouchTM and raise awareness and funds for testicular cancer.”

Through the NIL partnership, SAXX is turning to seven brand ambassadors to carry their message through social media content, media appearances, and an on-campus event in November. The seven South Carolina football players include: Cam Smith, Jordan Burch, D.K. Joyner, MarShawn Lloyd, Jaheim Bell, Austin Stogner, and Zacch Pickens.

“It’s super exciting to be able to do this with SAXX and my other teammates all while supporting a cause that brings awareness towards men’s health,” Joyner said in an email to The NIL Deal.

The South Carolina football players donated $5,000 to the Testicular Cancer Foundation to kick off the partnership with SAXX.

The company is planning on donating $1,000 – with the potential to reach $10,000 – to the foundation for every sack South Carolina gets for the remainder of the season.

The entire South Carolina football team has been invited to participate in the program, and they will receive over 1,000 in SAXX gear.

“Earlier this year, we hired professional football players Stefon and Trevon Diggs as Chief Ball Officers – and ever since we’ve wanted to work with a collegiate partner,” Wendy Bennison, the Chief Executive Officer of SAXX, said in a statement to The NIL Deal. “The South Carolina football team was the perfect match because we have a shared passion for supporting philanthropic efforts around men’s health. November is Men’s Health Awareness Month, so it presented a great opportunity to join forces for a good cause.”

To announce the partnership, SAXX released a new digital ad that’s a continuation of its Chief Ball Officers campaign with the Diggs brothers.
