Five-star recruit Ian Jackson, one of four North Carolina commits from the 2024 class, is already cashing in on name, image and likeness opportunities without even stepping foot on campus.
Jackson struck a NIL deal with New York City shoe store Extra Butter and he will help promote the new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 titled “Skyline.” Extra Butter is Jordan Brand’s East Coast partner and it is the first store to launch the new sneaker.

“That NY hustle will always be in me 💯. Excited to have teamed up with @extrabutter to inspire the next generation and celebrate the launch of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Skyline” #SkysTheLimit,” Jackson wrote on his Instagram page.
The Air Jordan 1 “Skyline”, which features a purple-to-pink gradient color scheme with white and black accents, was released on Friday and it is on sale for $180.

Jackson, a junior at Cardinal Hayes, is considered to be the No. 2 shooting guard in the entire 2024 recruiting class. He also had offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, LSU, and Oregon, but he committed to the Tar Heels back in January.
