The Friar Family Collective has officially launched.
In support of Providence student-athletes, the collective released a press release on Thursday saying that it will assist with their NIL opportunities.
“We have such a passion for Providence College and the athletes,” Friar Family Collective CEO Michael Ferranti said. “We’re very excited to be able to interact and work with them. As a team, we want to make sure we’re acting within how Providence College wants to be represented to the public.”

Providence College Athletic Director Steve Napolillo added that “the best interests of Providence and its student-athletes are central to the Friar Family Collective and its members.”

“I look forward to the Friar Family Collective giving our student-athletes an opportunity to maximize their name, image and likeness in this new college landscape,” Napolillo concluded.

According to the press release, The Friar Family Collective was founded to create avenues for student-athletes to receive NIL compensation, while building their personal brands, and making contributions to the community and local businesses. The collective promises to provide these student-athletes with guidance and exposure.
The Friar Family Collective also partnered with Opendorse, which will help streamline communication, compensation, and compliance for the student-athletes and the organization.
