A pair of Florida State football players have a season-long NIL partnership locked up.
Quarterback Jordan Travis and running back Trey Benson have signed NIL deals with Tallahassee Ford. The partnership will feature both star players in advertisement campaigns, with a focus in the Tallahassee community.
“Both Jordan and Trey are great guys first and foremost who are highly marketable,” Joe Hernandez of Just Win Management said in a statement to The NIL Deal. “This deal is a win-win as it provides the opportunity to engage with the Tallahassee community and work with one of the most highly respected brands in the world.
“Partnerships like this one highlight the importance of NIL and the opportunities that are now available to college athletes.”
Last season, both Travis and Benson were key pieces for the Seminoles, who ended their season with a CHEEZ-IT Bowl victory over Oklahoma. In that matchup, Travis completed 27-of-38 passes for 418 yards with two touchdown passes. He also had 50 yards rushing in the 35-32 win over the Sooners.
Travis threw for 3,214 passing yards with 24 touchdowns and only five interceptions. He added 417 rushing yards with seven more scores on the ground. Benson, on the other hand, led the Seminoles in rushing yards (990) and rushing touchdowns (9).
