Duke commit Jared McCain continues to build his growing NIL brand.
McCain, a five-star recruit who has more than 2.2 million followers on his social media platforms, signed with Excel Sports Management for NIL representation. Since enrolling at Duke, McCain hasn’t had any issues with signing deals – he most recently partnered with Champ Sports and Lemon Perfect.

McCain is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound guard from Corona, CA where he has played basketball at Centennial High School for the past three years. Since 2019, McCain’s freshman year, he has averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 88 games (all starts). In 2022, McCain was a member of the gold medal winning FIBA U18 Americas championship team for the United States.

McCain signed a multi-year partnership with Champs and he was a part of the company’s fall collection promotion with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. The deal with Lemon Perfect gives McCain the opportunity to act like an owner and get business experience.
McCain, the No. 18 ranked player in the 2023 class, decided to join Duke over Gonzaga, UCLA, Louisville and Houston.
