Just a couple of months ago, Bella Rasmussen became the first female football player to land an NIL deal. Fast forward to Wednesday, Rasmussen from Laguna Beach High School in California became the first female football player to be featured on a Leaf Trading Card.
“Leaf is excited to knock down another barrier as we launch the first-ever female football player NIL trading card in collaboration with Bella Rasmussen,” CJ Breen of Leaf told The NIL Deal in an email. “Bella embodies what Leaf strives to do, which is to change the game for the better.”

According to Breen, Leaf CEO Brian Gray worked with Rasmussen’s team over the “past few months” to bring this historic trading card to market.
“He (Gray) has done the most for females in the trading card space than any other card manufacturer,” Breen added. “I am hopeful this card will inspire the next generations of little girls.”
The signed card is available on Leaf’s website for $24.99.

Prior to partnering with KeyWise to help promote the KeyWise Skye app, Rasmussen became the first female to score two touchdowns in a varsity football game for Laguna Beach back in October.
Now, Rasmussen will have 510 cards created with her signature on them.
