This is the first NIL deal for the incoming freshman Denson.

“NIL is a huge part of my college experience,” Denson said in a statement. “I’m thankful for the opportunities it provides me to help build my own brand. Athlicity, being Gainesville-based, is a great partner to showcase my marketing opportunity as a Gator.”

Denson comes to Florida as a prized recruit. He was a consensus four-star recruit as 247 Sports, ESPN, On3 Consensus, and Rivals all listed him as one of the best prospects in the 2023 class. He was ranked as the No. 18 cornerback and No. 113 overall player in the nation by Rivals. Denson was also invited to play in the 2023 Under Armour All-American game.

“Our partnership with Sharif is on a new level,” said Austin Jones, social media and NIL athlete coordinator for Athlicity. “We all grew up huge fans of the game and the university, and we know what type of impact players like him have. We are grateful for our partnership, not only because of the marketing impact and what he brings to the table, but because of the joy seeing players like him succeed both on and off the field.”

This is Athlicity’s first foray into signing a Florida football player, however, the company had previously fostered NIL deals with Florida gymnast Bri Edwards, as well as securing a deal with five Florida women’s soccer players.
